The Muted Voice of Anxiety
Today was one of those days when anxiety revealed itself not through my words, but through my hands. My hands trembled like the strings of a guitar; except the guitar lets its sound be heard, while the trembling of my hands had no sound. Only I could feel it a silent voice echoing in my heart, growing louder with each beat.

When I looked at my hands, it felt as though all my hidden emotions were escaping through my fingers. Anxiety, worry, and a thousand tangled thoughts had found a way to show themselves. Perhaps others only saw the trembling, but they could not see the battle within me the struggle between staying calm and drowning in a wave of thoughts.

Despite all these feelings, I tried not to run away from myself. Instead of blaming myself, I paused, distracted myself a little, and took a few deep breaths.

I accepted that anxiety is also a part of life. Sometimes our bodies express what our tongues cannot say. Perhaps the trembling of my hands was the cry of me heart a voice no one else could hear.

Today taught me a lesson: courage is not the absence of fear. Courage means continuing despite fear and anxiety and finding calm again in the midst of unease.

Maybe today anxiety overwhelmed me, but I still managed to live with it. I can still write, learn, and strive for better days.

The lesson I learned today: my emotions are not my enemies. They only want to show me something, and I can pass through them without fighting.

Hope for tomorrow: I hope tomorrow my heart will hold more peace. And if my hands tremble again, revealing strange feelings, I will remind myself that this trembling is not a sign of weakness, it is a sign of my humanity. And I am grateful for the hope that God has given me.
